Cor Blimey! How long is Sebastien Squillaci going to be having his medical for?!
Like most other Gooners I was expecting his name to be on Arsenal.com on Monday.
Anyway, it is still very slow on the transfer news front. I am hoping that behind the scenes Ivan Gazidis is frantically trying to arrange something. We could get Shay Given if we tried – chances are, we wont even try. I am not convinced we will get a goalkeeper at all if we don’t get Schwarzer.

If he actually saves money to the club by doing only one press conference at end of the week to possibly announce a second signing with Squilacci, what’s wrong with that?
Can’t see an Ajax player signing as all the targets we had (Stekelenburg, Van Der Wiel, Vertonghen) are all cup tied now if I’m not wrong after playing europa league playoffs…
Might have a miracle if AW actually wants to snatch Gourcuff before he signs on the line at Lyon… But that would be too much hoping…

Arsenal will be a lighthouse shining in the dark when AW goes, leaving a club debtfree, with CL credentials, and a youth system unmatched in UK. Add to that the fact that when the debt will be fully repaid, the board won’t be able to justify not spending anymore, and with current scheme, that could well mean £50m budget every year after that…
Hopefull for the present, certain of the future.

I think the players who have all ready played in Champions/Europa League Qualifiers are only cup-tied thru the group stages. I could be wrong.

Actually no…..The reason for a question mark at the end of a sentance is to speciify a question.
If you read it as a statement then I cannot help with that.
Arsene should please sign at least one defenssive and one central defenceapart from squilliaci and a goalee to make us compete against the likes of man city. Did you know that mancity used three defenssive midfeild against liverpool on monday.
